"I can?t even express how good it felt to finally be on the track,? expressed Lindsey Trausch, driver/co-owner of Haus Motorsports. "Chris and I have been planning for this moment for close to a year and to go out and test well today makes us eager to get back out there.?

The day started slow for Trausch as she adjusted to the car but it didn?t take long to get settled, shaving off a second and a half on lap times before days end.

"The first 30 to 40 laps we weren?t really hitting it hard,? added Trausch. "I mainly wanted to get comfortable in the car and learn the line around the track. With the help of Brian Moates, I was able to gradually pick up the pace and end the day with lots of confidence.

"If Mother Nature allows, we will test again this Friday and hopefully make Saturday?s make-up race our first of the season,? Trausch continued. "Our goal for the rest of the year is to learn each outing and get as many laps under our belts as possible so we will be ready to tackle 2005.?
