CHARLOTTE, N.C.-After months of preparation, Haus Motorsports and driver Lindsey Trausch competed in its first USAC Ford Focus Midget event with a clean run in the September 18 Real Race Cars Inversion Challenge at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, N.C. Qualifying in the tenth position with a 15.783 lap time, Trausch would start in the back of the twelve-car field for the first of two 25 lap feature events.

Finishing 11th and 9th, respectively in each feature, the entire Haus Motorsports team was excited how the day turned out, leaving them optimistic for the remainder of the year.

"We may not have finished towards the front of the field, but it was a great day for myself and Haus Motorsports," Trausch commented after the race. "The car was really tight the first feature but during the break we loosened it up and I was able to get through the turns a lot better.

"At this point in the season, we are learning all we can for next year," Trausch continued. "As a driver I learned a ton but know there is still a lot more I need to know to get competitive."

With the next race only a week away, Haus Motorsports owner Chris Trausch is ready to make the trip to Anderson Speedway in Anderson, S.C. to get more laps for the team.

"This was a great learning experience for all of us," explained Chris Trausch, Haus Motorsports team owner. "We learned a lot about setting up the car and the help we got from the guys at Real Race Cars was tremendous.

"We seem to be pointed in the right direction as far as set-up goes, which gives us a great starting point," continued Chris. "Now we just need to get to Anderson and continue to learn what the car likes so we can progress each week."

Haus Motorsports, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. was founded in September 2003 by husband and wife duo, Chris and Lindsey Trausch who bring a vast Motorsports and marketing background to the USAC Carolina Ford Focus Series.
