CHARLOTTE, N.C.?After nearly six months of preparation, Haus Motorsports and their driver Lindsey Trausch are edging closer to their debut in USAC?s Carolina Ford Focus Series. With the purchase of a Stealth chassis from two-time Chili Bowl Nationals champion Dan Boorse in February, Haus Motorsports is working hard to get the car prepared for testing then for their first race day start.
?We bought a great car from Dan that only had nine races on it, but there are still some things that need to be done to make it a Haus Motorsports machine,? explains Chris Trausch, co-owner of Haus Motorsports. ?Once we get it back from the powder coater and get the engine put in, we should be little more than a month away. Getting up and running by mid-May is our goal?
With the rising costs of Motorsports making it difficult for a start-up teams to get the funding necessary to grow quickly, Haus Motorsports is working hard searching for primary and associate sponsorships.
?If money was not an issue, we would have been there for the first race, but unfortunately racing isn?t cheap,? comments Lindsey Trausch, driver and co-owner of Haus Motorsports Stealth. ?We?ve got a great marketing package to offer the right company looking for creative ways of marketing their services.
?Luckily we have had several companies step-up as product sponsors which definitely helps, continued Trausch. ?If it wasn?t for their support, being ready by May would not even be a possibility.?
Haus Motorsports, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. was founded in September 2003 by husband and wife duo, Chris and Lindsey Trausch who bring a vast Motorsports and marketing background to the USAC Carolina Ford Focus Series.
Haus Motorsports would like to thank the following product sponsors: Impact Race Products, Wilwood Disc Brakes, Weld Wheels, BR Motorsports, Gale Trailer Sales, and Ringers Gloves.
