CHARLOTTE, N.C.?After a strong showing in the final four events of the 2004 USAC Carolina Ford Focus Midget season, Haus Motorsports is gearing up for a strong 2005 by adding Brian Moates to its team of drivers. Moates will become teammate to Lindsey Trausch who will be vying for the Series? Rookie of the Year title. Together, Moates and Trausch are determined to build Haus Motorsports into a front running team.

?I?m really excited to be teaming with Haus Motorsports and Lindsey Trausch,? commented Moates. ?I was really pleased at how quickly Lindsey adjusted to the car last year. She is a very talented driver and we both share the same determination and desire to build Haus Motorsports into a competitive team.?

With 19 years of racing experience Moates, who competed in the Indiana Ford Focus Series for famed midget racers Mel and Don Kenyon in 2003, brings over 700 starts and 150 wins to Haus Motorsports.

?Brian is definitely a welcome addition to Haus Motorsports,? remarked Lindsey Trausch, driver and co-owner of Haus Motorsports. ?Without Brian?s help last season, we couldn?t have gotten off to the start that we did. He knows a lot about setting up midgets and his coaching really helped me get comfortable in the car.?

The Carolina Ford Focus Midget Series will kick off the 2005 season March 26 at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, Va.

Haus Motorsports, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. was founded in September 2003 by husband and wife duo, Chris and Lindsey Trausch who bring a vast Motorsports and marketing background to the USAC Carolina Ford Focus Series.
