CHARLOTTE, N.C.?Precision Alignment, located in Middletown, has partnered with Haus Motorsports and driver Lindsey Trausch for the May 25 USAC Ford Focus Midget event at 1/4-mile, high-banked Anderson Speedway. The days event is a precursor to the 57th Annual Pay Less/Remy International Little 500 which takes place Saturday, May 28 and the Focus Midgets will be the support group for the evenings USAC National Sprint Car 50 lap feature.
Trausch, who grew up in Middletown, is a 1996 graduate of Shenandoah High School and is the youngest daughter of Bruce and Peggy Seward, owners of Precision Alignment.
?I?m so excited to come back to Indiana and race in front of my friends and family and to help my parents get more exposure for Precision Alignment,? commented Trausch who currently resides in Charlotte, N.C. where she is employed by National Speed Sport News. ?I?ve been racing in the Carolina?s since last September but this will be the first time I?ve raced in the Midwest and to be part of the opening act for the USAC National Sprints is pretty special.?
Although Precision Alignment has been actively involved in drag racing for more than 30 years, by owning and operating Seward Racing, this will be the companies first partnership in the USAC ranks and they are optimistic the opportunity will be a success for both Precision Alignment and Haus Motorsports.
?We?re very excited to have Lindsey racing close to home and are eager to support her anyway we can,? commented Bruce Seward who founded Precision Alignment. ?With the national sprints running the same night I imagine there will be a pretty good crowd to help generate more exposure for Precision Alignment.?
