SOUTH BOSTON, VA - Following a strong effort in Midwest Ford Focus Midget competition at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway, Lindsey Trausch and her Haus Motorsports team rode that momentum to Boston Speedway in South Boston, Va. where she would score the teams first top-ten finish of the season, thus moving her to tenth in the Carolina Ford Focus Midget Series standings.

Qualifying in the tenth position with at 16.445 second lap around the four-tenths, semi-banked oval, Trausch held steady throughout the 25-lap feature bringing her LunaseaMedia Productions Stealth home in the ninth position.

?It feels good to finally get a top-ten finish this year, especially after having such a strong car in Anderson,? commented Trausch who is battling for the rookie of the year title. ?South Boston has never been one of my strongest tracks so to leave here with a ninth place finish and tenth in points is pretty good in my book.

?We have a pretty good opportunity to continue making headway in points going into East Lincoln next week,? continued Trausch. ?A lot of the drivers in front of us in points won?t be racing on the dirt so hopefully we can have a strong showing and pick up a few more points positions.?

The Carolina Ford Focus Midget Series will head back to the four-tenths mile, clay oval East Lincoln Speedway in Stanley, N.C. Saturday, June 11 for the conclusion of the rain-delayed May 14 event.

Haus Motorsports, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. was founded in September 2003 by husband and wife duo, Chris and Lindsey Trausch who bring a vast Motorsports and marketing background to the USAC Carolina Ford Focus Series.
